How long and can you make them look natural?

Eyelashes have been apart of the beauty industry for sometime now. Long before they abruptly hit the scene in urban areas. A lot of "newbies" ask the question of "how long should I get them?" And, "can you make them look natural?" My response to this frequently asked question is "length doesn't have nothing to do with how natural they look, and the length you choose just sets the tone of how noticeable you want them to be".

It's the density (how thick, or how many layers) that determines how natural. Normally, for the "clustered" lashes (individual flares) I, by habit, put two layers on each eye. That's a total of 28 synthetic  eyelashes per eye. Depending on the shape of the eye, I have to add a little more to help fill all the gaps. The more layers of eyelashes I add, the more dark they become. You can have short, long or medium eyelashes look natural as long as you keep the application light. Adding more than 2-2 1/2 layers of falsies can also add weight and make them feel heavy upon your eyes.

Strip lashes however come with many types, styles and density.  Although strips are only good for one time occassions and special events. LML strip application can last 2-3 days depending on your care for them. But normally clients only have strip lashes applied for that day or evening festivities.

Don't let thick, batty eyelashes scare you away from a life changing experience.  Some women who wear eyelashes have misrepresented the look and make others second guess themselves on trying lashes. Before you stick to "No I'm not doing that, or I'm scared to try them", take 20 minutes out of your day to come in and be transformed. It's a painless, gratifying experience that can change how you view eyelashes forever!

5 MUST KNOW Beauty Tips/Tricks!

Every quote on quote expert or mua always has some new trick or tip to enhance or simplify your beauty,  skin and your cosmetic lifestyle as a whole. But LML has 5 simple techniques that you can tailor make to fit your personal needs:

1. Wet your shadow brush to present brighter or darker pigmentation of your eyeshadow. Yes, primer works,  but sometimes spending more money on more make up isn't the solution.  Just a little "mc gievering" and your good!

2. Using an exfoliate facial scrub with beads will help get rid of dead skin cells, keep your skin moisturized and less flaky. Great exfoliate scrubs are a more valuable investment and will show & prove as time goes on.

3. I am questioned often as to how do I keep my skin from flaking & looking dry. Right after I use my facial scrub exfoliate and dark spot corrector, I apply Aquaphor to my face. It helps keep my face looking & feeling moisterized. It also helps my foundation to go on evenly & smoothe.

4. Another great way to maintain a healthy glow for your skin & while wearing your make up is CLEAN your make up brushes! Due to build up of blush powder, foundation & eye shadow on your make up brushes, it will cause your make up to show up darker than your desired tone and cause your face to break out. You should clean your brushes once a week. Just fill up a glass of hot water mixed with degreasing dish detergent and let them soak overnight. The degreasing agent pulls the oils, old make up & dirt out of your brushes. Rinse clean with cold water and let air dry.

5. Last but not least, its cold and your lips tend to dry up & crackle with or without your favorite lipstick. So apply lip balm consistently throughout the day everyday. Also apply lip balm before using matte lipstick. This will guard against your matte lipstick drying up & crackling.
